Credit Card Tokenization Project

Credit card security is a concern in every industry, but even more so in hospitality. An article in the New York Times* stated that "38 percent of the credit card hacking cases last year involved the hotel industry," more than any other industry in the country.

Visual Matrix is highly conscious of the need for heightened security, and is currently working on a new Credit Card Tokenization project. 

With credit card tokenization, your property no longer stores a physical credit card number. Instead, you store only a token number assigned by your processor. The processor stores the card, eliminating a security risk for your property and enhacing PCI security.

What's your backup plan?

A solid backup plan is important for any business. If your property is not performing secondary backups, you are in danger of losing financial information, future reservations, and even past revenue and tax information.
