The Two-Way Interface is an interface between the Property Management System (PMS) at the property and the Central Reservation System (CRS). The Two-Way is a tool providing for improved exchange of information between the PMS at the property level and the Best Western CRS that will:
 Complete reservation delivery from the CRS to the PMS directly
Manage availability, rates, restrictions and guarantees in the CRS from the PMS
Provide last room availability to all reservation channels
Manage and maintain revenue strategy of properties with updates made on
the PMS immediately updating the CRS |
The Two-Way Interface is a critical component of Best Western's distribution and revenue growth strategy and necessary to effectively compete in electronic distribution channels. Offering true last room availability for applicable rates is imperative for increasing revenue through the Internet and other electronic distribution channels. Offering maximum availability when appropriate for discounted rates is required for optimal positioning on third party Web sites.
