Customer Support (with hotel background)

If you are looking to branch out from the hotel front desk and have at least 2 years of solid hotel experience, then we would like you to bring your hotel experience to our team. Our employees dress casually, and assist our clients with all facets of the hotel business, including check-ins, check-outs, and computer troubleshooting. Basic computer experience is required, but a suit isn't! And don't worry, full training is provided. This position is a great way to use your hotel skills in a different side of the industry, and learn computer networking and troubleshooting at the same time.   • Providing exemplary customer service
  • Clarifying the client's problem
  • Determining the cause of the problem
  • Selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem
  • Expediting correction or adjustment
  • Following up to ensure resolution
  • Contributes to team effort by asking questions, providing help to co-workers, and ensuring open lines of communication with all staff members.
  • Identifying and taking ownership of client issues
  • Ask appropriate questions of clients and conduct appropriate research when problems arise
  • Clearly explain a client's choices to guide client to an appropriate resolution
  • Ensure timely follow-up for all issues and tickets
  • Maintain proper and thorough documentation of all client communication within ticketing system.
  • Manage phone communication per department policies
  • Maintain assigned trouble tickets
  • Demonstrate vigilance in continuing education, both in the software product and in the installation environment.

Requirements

We are looking for experienced tech support representatives to join our team. The Technical Support Representative will work in a fast paced call center environment supporting multiple hotels across the nation with a proprietary software system. The Representative will also be responsible for day to day ticket/issue tracking. There will be also some network setup, design, and implementation. There is no travel in the position as all support is performed remotely from our offices.
